"A very resilient Wetterbygden team pushed us for 40 minutes on Friday night, in front of a lively crowd inside Gothia Arena.

We started off somewhat sluggish and our opponents made sure that we knew they were there to play, taking the opening period 23-25 after a solid 50% 3PT shooting performance.

We made some good ground in the second and ended up taking a 14 point lead mid way through the second (50-36) before a final late push from the visitors closed the gap to just 8 points at the break (54-46) courtesy of 20 first half points from experienced scorer - Albin Eriksson.

Wetterbygden came out strong in Q3 and really upped the pressure, forcing some unnecassary turnovers from us and ultimately made us pay for our errors before closing the gap to just 5 points heading into the final stretch.

With 3 minutes left to play, the highly talented (2006 born) Isak Homelius tied the game at 81-81 on a three point shot, to really shift the momentum back to the visitors. But thankfully we came out after the immediate timeout and really stepped up at both ends of the floor - taking a 10-2 run in the following 2 minutes, which ultimately helped to get us over the line.

Next up we welcome Norrort to Gothia on Saturday afternoon where I'm sure they will be looking for revenge following our first encounter just a few days ago."
